Wild Card Essay
Hi my name is Michael Wimberly and this story is about
on Halloween when me and my friends were going to a party at
my girlfriend’s house. But first I’m going to tell you that it
wasn’t a good night . For this reason I got jacked now I know
not to walk around a night.
It was on October 31,2009 Halloween day . It was 9:30
and I had just got out of the shower to get dress for the party
but before I got dress I called my cousin Harold over so he can
go with me to the party . So when I call him he answered the
phone like who’s this I said this your cousin mike-mike . I said
to him do u want to go to a party with me and he said yep were
is it at I told him that’s the party is on 35th street . Then after
that we hung up the phone I started to get dress .
However after I got dress I heard a noise at the door so I
look out the window in it was my cousin Harold . Next I let him
in and he had on a scream mask with some blue jeans on . So
when we left my house my girlfriend’s friend’s seen me I tried
to hide from the but I couldn’t now I already new that they
were going to ask me to go trick-or-treating with them .Even
though I was with my cousin we went with them then as we
were walking with them a car pulled up on the side of us in
said give me your candy and we all said hell no we not giving
you nothing .
So then when we ran and said catch us if you can punks
but my heart was beating fast as heck but I kept running. As
I'm running I said to everyone to split up so we wont get
cought . But after a few min it didn't seem like we were getting
chased so me and my cousin left the girls and went to the party
. Then as we were on our way to the party that car pulled up
on the side of us and said weren't you the boy's that we were
just chasing and we said no but they still got out the car and
started to chase us again.
Finally as we made it to the party I got a dance and a kiss
from my girlfriend. Now I know I can't be walking around at
night because it's too dangerous . Despite the fact that we were
chased almost all night I learned that Halloween can be
dangerous too and fun at the same time.
